About
I’m Roman Honcharenko, a London-based Nuke Compositor working across commercials, music videos, film and TV. I have around four years of production experience, compositing live-action, full-CG and hybrid shots for projects including Swarovski, BVLGARI, Coach, Samsung, Lil Nas X and Ed Sheeran.
My work covers keying, cleanup, roto/paint, tracking, CG integration, multipass EXR/AOV and deep compositing, relighting, reflections, beauty work and final shot finishing. I’m comfortable working within ACES/OCIO pipelines and also use After Effects and AI-assisted tools where they make sense for the project.
I also have a broader background in filmmaking and motion design, which gives me a strong sense of composition, lighting and storytelling alongside the technical side of compositing. I’m currently based in London and open to freelance, contract and staff opportunities.

This video is for those who have their own panels and want to import them into the new version.
Sometimes it’s needed to animate a downloaded model from the internet which isn't prepared for animation, which is posed in the wrong position and doesn’t have a rig to fix it.
In the first part, I delve into animating a model using Mixamo and preparing the scene in Cinema 4D. The next episode will cover creating fire using Turbulence FD in C4D.
In the second part of our tutorial, we'll be adding realistic fire to our animated character in C4D using Turbulence FD. This lesson includes numerous valuable comparisons of various fire settings in Turbulence FD, making it a helpful resource for anyone looking to explore this tool.
There is one Easter Egg in the Effect Controls next to your Project panel. Hold Shift and click on the top of this panel, near the name of your composition or layer, and After Effects will make a sheep sound.
